About this Mythical Beasts release

This Single Malt was moved into a Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask for finishing. PX is an intensely sweet and dark sherry complimenting the Ardlair perfectly. The PX cask underwent a special process called New Era Of Cask (NEOC). This process brought out the full flavour profiles of the sherry cask into the whisky. We are the first company to ever use this process in Scotch whisky.

About The Dryad

In the secluded glens of the Highlands, where ancient forests still stand untouched, a great oak grows tall and silent. Hidden within its living heart dwells a Dryad, the spirit of the tree, bound to the wood and to the land from which it rose. In Celtic legend the Dryad is both gentle and powerful, a guardian of nature whose strength lies beneath the surface, carrying an air of mystery that belongs to another age.

This whisky reflects that same quiet strength. Shaped by oak and matured with patience, it reveals a character that is smooth, balanced, and deeply rooted in tradition. There is a natural richness here, touched by time and guided by the cask, capturing something of the timeless bond between the forests of Scotland, the oak, and the spirit within.
