Braeside Bond Whisky Warehouse

Braeside Bond Warehouse

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new warehouse Braeside Bond located in Newburgh, Fife, in the Lowlands of Scotland. This marks an important milestone for Spiritfilled and for our clients, as the new facility has been designed specifically to provide secure, compliant, and professionally managed storage for Scotch whisky casks in a setting that reflects the heritage and character of the industry. Situated in a beautiful part of the country with a long history of whisky production, the location offers the ideal environment for casks to mature slowly and naturally over time.

The state-of-the-art warehouse will be home to around 14,000 casks belonging to our clients, all stored under HMRC bonded conditions and managed to the highest professional standards. One of the advantages of the new site is that clients will be able to visit their casks by appointment, giving them the opportunity to see where their whisky is maturing while also enjoying the beautiful surroundings and outdoor activities the area has to offer. We believe that cask ownership should be something people can experience in person, not just on paper, and Braeside Bond has been created with that in mind.

Casks are already arriving at the new warehouse as we write, and each cask will be carefully regauged on arrival to confirm its current strength and volume. This process forms an important part of responsible cask management, ensuring accurate records are maintained and that every cask is stored in the correct conditions from the moment it enters the warehouse. Alongside the physical move, we are also developing a new online portal for our client community, where owners will be able to request samples, receive inventory reports, track their casks, and gain access to features reserved for members of our investment community.

The local area around Braeside Bond offers plenty to enjoy for those visiting the warehouse, including excellent fishing, clay pigeon shooting, fine dining, and distillery tours. Nearby Lindores Abbey Distillery, widely regarded as the site of the oldest recorded distillery in Scotland, is just a short distance away and provides a fitting reminder of the deep history behind Scotch whisky.
