Spiritfilled at Asia Cup Polo 2025
We were delighted to once again sponsor the Asia Polo Cup in Windsor this year, a fantastic occasion that provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect with long-standing clients, welcome new faces, and enjoy exceptional whisky in a relaxed but prestigious setting. The event always attracts a great mix of guests, from polo supporters and business partners to whisky enthusiasts who appreciate the chance to spend time discussing fine spirits in an informal and sociable atmosphere. With excellent weather, first-class polo, and a strong sense of occasion throughout the day, it proved to be another memorable year for everyone involved.
The setting offered an ideal backdrop to share our Mythical Beasts whiskies, with guests able to explore single cask Scotch whisky shaped by time, distillery character, and thoughtful cask selection. These bottlings are chosen to highlight the individuality that only single cask releases can offer, with each whisky reflecting the influence of its maturation and the decisions made along the way. As with polo itself, the focus was very much on precision, heritage, and long-term commitment rather than immediacy, values that resonate strongly both in the sport and in the world of whisky.
Alongside the tastings, we spent time speaking with attendees about whisky cask ownership and investment, answering questions and sharing our experience of how the process works in practice. Conversations centred on how casks mature over time, why provenance and proper bonded storage are so important, and the role patience plays in achieving meaningful long-term results. For many guests, it was their first opportunity to discuss the subject in detail, while others enjoyed the chance to go deeper into the technical side of cask selection, storage, and eventual bottling or resale.
