Trustpilot five stars

Professional, Friendly

"Chris from Spiritfilled was professional, friendly and very informative. I was impressed with their level of customer service and felt very comfortable - Chris was brilliant at asking all my questions and I was reassured that Spiritfilled was a company I could trust. They also provide Delivery Orders as well as an online profile to monitor your cask’s condition and location - plus the opportunity to visit it. I will be using their services again in the future and I'd happily recommend."

Buying whisky

"I found the overall experience very easy. I wasn’t forced into anything or felt obligated to do anything I didn’t want to. All my questions about whisky investments were answered. After my purchase, Ownership papers were sent out ASAP by email and paper copy along with purchase agreement. Once my casks were moved to Breaside Bond warehouse I was given a delivery order and organised a visit to see them. Excellent service start to finish. Would highly recommend Spiritfilled."

Best brokers

"I bought a few casks of Whiskey from Chris with a very pleasant and comfortable procedure. I have already talked to different brokers before finding Spiritfilled and Chris, so I can obviously see the difference: Chris is always patient and trying his best to answer the questions I have (the whiskey, the distillery and the potential investment return). I did not feel to be pushed by him to buy the casks without understanding what I am getting into as the other brokers did to me."

What do we sell?

Whisky we have available in cask

We sell a carefully selected range of Scotch whisky casks, with options spanning established maturing stock through to newly filled casks. The types of whisky cask we have available includes:

Single malt Scotch whisky: Distilled from malted barley at a single distillery, matured in oak casks in Scotland for a minimum of three years. Casks may range from relatively young spirit through to well-aged stock. This category remains the most widely recognised and in-demand within the global whisky market, valued for its distillery identity, traceability, and long-term maturation potential.

Single grain Scotch whisky: Distilled at a single distillery using a range of cereals. As with single malt, casks are matured for a minimum of three years and may extend into significantly older age profiles. Single grain whisky can offer a different balance of flavour development, maturation pace, and market positioning, while still benefiting from the same bonded storage and regulatory framework as single malt.

Newly filled casks of new make spirit: We also offer casks for sale that have been freshly filled with new make spirit. These casks have not yet reached Scotch whisky age but allow clients to buy at the very start of the maturation journey. Newly filled casks provide the opportunity to shape long-term flavour development through wood selection, fill strength, and ageing strategy.

Get in touch and we can share our latest cask price list. And, we're always ahappy to discuss the most appropriate whisky style, maturation stage, and cask type for your preferences.

What do we sell?

Scotch regions and styles we sell

We work with whisky casks from across Scotland’s recognised whisky regions, covering a wide range of spirit styles and distillery character. Availability varies over time, but regional identity remains an important consideration when assessing flavour profile, maturation behaviour, and long-term appeal.

Islay: Best known for bold, peated, maritime single malts with a strong global following. Distilleries such as Lagavulin, Ardbeg, and Laphroaig are often cited as reference points for Islay's distinctive smoky and coastal character.

Speyside: Home to a high concentration of distilleries producing elegant, fruit-forward single malts with broad international appeal. Well-known names such as The Macallan, Glenfiddich, and The Glenlivet are commonly associated with Speyside's refined and approachable style.

Highlands: Scotland’s largest and most diverse whisky region, encompassing a wide spectrum of styles. Distilleries such as Glenmorangie, Dalmore, and Oban are often referenced to illustrate the Highland's range, from rich and full-bodied profiles to lighter coastal expressions.

Lowlands and Campbeltown: Smaller regions but valued for their distinct identities. Lowland distilleries such as Auchentoshan and Glenkinchie are typically associated with lighter, more delicate styles, while Campbeltown is represented by names such as Springbank, known for robust, characterful whiskies with strong regional provenance.

If you're looking for a particular style, region, or distillery, get in touch with us and we can talk you through the casks we have available.

Whisky Cask Purchase

Understand the market

Demystifying cask purchase

Buying a whisky cask can feel opaque at first, particularly given the practical, logistical and regulatory considerations involved. Issues such as bonded storage, insurance, ownership documentation and long-term maturation are not always well explained, yet they play a central role in any cask purchase.

A consultation call is designed to bring structure and clarity to these areas. It allows you to explore how cask ownership works in practice, understand the risks alongside the potential rewards, and assess whether a whisky cask is appropriate for your circumstances and time horizon.

Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, the aim is to ensure you are well informed before making any decision. For many people, this early clarity is essential to approaching cask ownership with confidence and realistic expectations.

Cask Purchase Consultation Call

Our cask purchase consultation call is a straightforward, no-obligation conversation with one of our cask specialists. It provides an opportunity to discuss your objectives, preferences and any concerns, and to ask questions in a practical, transparent setting.

During the call, we can talk through the factors that influence cask characteristics and value, including age, distillery profile, cask type, maturation trajectory and market dynamics. We will also cover how ownership is structured, how casks are stored and managed, and what a long-term approach to cask ownership typically involves.

If you decide not to proceed, the call should still leave you better informed about how the whisky cask market works. If you do choose to explore a purchase, the discussion helps ensure any next steps are aligned with what you are looking to achieve, rather than pushing you towards a particular outcome.

Spiritfilled reviews

Scottish Rugby Star and Spiritfilled Ambassador

A word from Finn Russell

“For me, I think it’s a great investment. The longer you can afford to leave it, the better the investment becomes. It’s something for my daughters in the future; I’ll probably get casks for them as well, and it’s always a nice thing to be able to hand down.

Being Scottish, I suppose it’s part of our country, part of our national identity. So I think supporting Scottish brands and Scottish distilleries is brilliant. The investment you can make, and the longer you can leave it, makes it a great opportunity for people.

One of the biggest things about becoming part of Spiritfilled was the connection with Scottish whisky and coming from Scotland myself. Being so passionate about the country, it’s one of our greatest prides, and whisky is exported all over the world. I think helping Scotland continue to grow as a whisky nation is something I’m really looking forward to.”
